Rajasthan is a magnificent area
in India, full of color, temples, elephants, festivals, with holy cows roaming the streets. There are many poor farmers working the land; they possess a dignity
and kindness like no other place I have ever been.
Most of my time was spent exploring the towns where people would invite me into their homes for tea. Each village is a study in contrasts — mud huts and opulent palaces, ornate jewelry and local pottery, dancers in colorful dresses and naked children begging in the street.
